So now with the Holidays gone; and way too quickly might I add; I can start enter back into the daunting blog world! As you have probably noticed the funny lil critter :) to the right of this, Eric and I are expecting! After waiting what seemed like forever and after 3 pregnancy tests in 2 days; just to be certain; we found out I was pregnant in October. We announced it to some fam and friends on Halloween night via a hideously constructed costume, however, we just got a new computer so I have no pics to share of it...you will just have to wait :)
As a lil update on the baby bump that is just barely barely starting to form...I am 16 weeks along and over the last few weeks have started feelin much much better! For a good while my face found friendship with my work trash can and toilet, as well as some not so lucky places, including the movie theater flower bed...oops! During those many weeks I lived off of toast, bananas, apple juice and lime chicken cup-o-noodles! For now it seems that my tummy/baby likes salty more than sugary...which made me real sad during the holidays...no more than a nibble for me :( But now I am just so grateful to be feelin better...I have now been to the gym twice since i found out i was prego and I am feelin like I can get back to somewhat normal routine...lower weights and less panting at the gym of course. And I am loving that I am now able to add back in some of the normal foods...had half a hamburger the other night and it was delightful!
Eric and I had my 15 week appt last week to hear baby Battles' heart beat...only prob was that while the doc was checking it I was asking him a question and never got to hear the heartbeat...after the doc answered my question he started putting away his Doppler thing and I was so confused, I thought that he would have made me shut up before he put it away so I could hear the heartbeat...I guessed he assumed I was a good multi-tasker...but I just don't have that completely down yet! Luckily Eric heard and confirmed that all my feeling sick was not in vain...Baby Battles is strong and breathing! Of course we will keep you posted on what we will be having...possibly sooner, than later :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is so exciting. It runs in the Nicholls family to be REALLY nausious. Being sick is so horrible, but its worth it! Having a new baby is so fun. We are enjoying our little girl Caeli (6 weeks old) SO much! Good luck! Hope you continue to feel better! Keep us updated! Glad you returned to blogging!
Happy day! We are so excited for the two of you! I can't wait to see if you are having a boy or a girl. We miss you guys so much! And as your bump starts to grow, post some pictures of it. I find every prego woman but me so dang cute! Something about your myself putting on weight :)
oh wow, congrats! I am sorry you haven't been feeling good, but I am glad you are feeling better! I also lived off of toast and orange juice those first few weeks. Anyway i am glad you posted something new and this post is very exciting!
Congrats Tam & Eric!!! I was just thinking the other day...those 2 need to make babies. :) Can't wait for baby Battles to get here!
