...not quite sure who started the tradition of celebrating Christmas in ugly sweaters, but now Eric and I have our own custom garb to wear every year from here on out! In years past I have felt bad asking family members if they have any "ugly" Christmas attire...there really is no way too ask without sort of offending! ...ah maybe one a lil less pretty or maybe one thats a little older, ha ha...but hopefully doesn't smell like moth balls!
the walmart sewing section served us well...funny fabrics, unusual embellishments and tacky sweatshirts! There was this Rudolph story book fabric...and my imagination started ticking, how bout a cushion-y book, fuzzy red noses and googly eyes! So mine and eric's chest tell the story of the red nose reindeer! And Anistyn just loved it!
Kelsey and Tyler created some fabulous numbers too! And the boys help assemble!
For having the "ugliest" sweaters, we won more ugly stuff! thanks!
goal...add something odd and/or ugly to the sweaters every year...
