Good morning, good morning the little bird say!!

Anistyn's nursery is finally set up! Now she just needs to start sleeping in it! The first few nights I think I will be sad to put her in her own room, she has been such a good sleeper that I really don't mind her sleeping in our room. However, I do look forward to being able to read in bed with the lights on and not worry waking her. I love waking up to her, maybe I will have sleep-overs in her room!
My creative lil sis, Heather painted this for Anistyn's room and I just love it! "Good morning, good morning the little bird say" are lyrics to one of my fav childhood songs..."Way up in the sky the little birds fly, way down in their nests the little birds rest...good morning, good morning the little birds say!" So sweet of sister to make this for Anistyn!
I heart Anistyn's bedding, it took me forever to decide on the style of fabric...finally I decided something timeless would be best...since Eric is convinced (via the silly voodoo pencil test) that we will be having lots more girls! My amazing seamstress of a mom helped with the bedding...I measured and cut (the math side) and she sewed (the creative side). We have this sewing machine foot that can "ruffle" anything and I love it! I will have to take a closer pic of Anistyn's baby quilt to show the darling ruffling! Thanks mom for all your help!!
This lamp was a lil fun project for me, got to love extra bedding fabric to tie everything together!

The coziest rocking chair ever...had it painted and distressed at Four Chairs in Lindon, great place for creating the perfect furniture!

Love it! We used some of that same material in Malia's nursery. I love the canvas covered in the matching material, what a creative idea.

Seriously, only you would come up with such a masterpiece. Love it. Yes, July 9th is the magical day. Didn't we get married the same day too? Guess we're meant to be.
No, not moving to Cali, I wish. We don't know where we're going. If you know of any law firms in Oregon hiring let us know I would love to live there!

SO SO CUTE! Maybe one day I will have a girl so I can ruffle some things... Ruffles don't exist in my house. Just stripes, balls and trucks haha
